Jack Roberts
Board of Directors
A nearly 38-year resident of East Lansing, Mr. Roberts served as the executive director of the
Michigan High School Athletic Association from 1986 to 2018. During these 32 years he also
served six years on the Board of Directors of the National Federation of State High School
Associations, was chairman of the NFHS Network Board of Directors for five years, and a
member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Sports Officials for four years.
He is a Past-Chair of the Board of Directors for the Michigan Society of Association Executives.
His community service includes being President of the Board of Directors of the Refugee
Development Center for 15 years and Past-Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Capital Region
Community Foundation. He currently serves on the Foundation Board of Trustees for Greater
Lansing Convention and Visitors Bureau. He and his wife Peggy are passionate about and
supportive of the work several environmental organizations, including Lansing’s Fenner Nature
Center.
